Senior Project Manager – Quantitative

The role:

Do you have the skills and experience to manage a large volume of valuable projects for our key accounts? Can you collaborate with colleagues and clients to quickly turnaround high-quality market research projects? Are you ready to join a passionate team and use your quantitative expertise to help us grow?

Already recognised as a UK leader in qualitative market research recruitment, Roots Research have successfully expanded their offering to recruiting participants for quantitative market research studies. You’ll be joining our dedicated and enthusiastic quantitative team, working together to make sure projects run smoothly and deliver high-quality market research insights. All with a smile and sense of humour!

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be managing projects and overseeing our key accounts, as well as regularly handling new business requests. This involves building great relationships with our clients, but also working closely with, and effectively managing our Project Coordinators and Project Managers. Supporting our Associate Directors, you’ll help us maintain our high standards, and build on this by training and coaching the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee key client accounts
  • Handle new business requests from new and existing clients
  • Set your accounts and projects up for success
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients throughout the project cycle; from briefing call through to responding to feedback after completion
  • Take a transparent and solutions-focused approach to communication and keep client informed of any potential challenges
  • Recruit respondents that meet your client’s brief
  • Manage and collaborate with a team of project managers and co-ordinators to make sure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Manage external recruiters to ensure quality of external recruitment aligns with Roots Research standards
  • Train and coach Project Managers and Project Coordinators
  • Follow company process and keep effective records via Project
  • Run project debriefs and ensure learnings are incorporated in new ways of working

Essential Attributes:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within quantitative market research
  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Sound organisational experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Microsoft Office/IT proficient

The nitty gritty:

Salary:
£30,000 – £37,500 (experience dependent)

Location:
Flexible – Brighton-based office (with some smart people and cute office dogs), hybrid, or remote working options available

Annual Leave:
23 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time)

Bonus Offering:
up to £3,00 per annum (plus additional ad hoc bonuses)

Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week (with the requirement to work such additional hours as necessary to fully perform the role in accordance with the needs of the business)
