We’re looking for someone with a solid background in digital and social media marketing to fill anexciting newmarketing rolein our company. This is a role for somebody who really likes acting on the own initiative and gets a kick out of producing great results.

With a track record of working on newdigital marketingcampaigns and large scale, high value projects, you will have at least 3 years’ experience of leading on marketing activities. Whether it’s coming up with innovative solutions to varied briefs or developing a marketing strategy to develop new business, you possess strong creative and analytical skills.

You’ll use your knowledge and experience to evaluate our existing marketing and mine our data to create a successful marketing programme. You’re used to getting hands-on, juggling multiple projects and, after each project is complete, reporting on its success and using your learnings to improveperformance.

Key Performance Indicators

  1. Growing the size of the co.ukpanel
  2. Retention level of members of the panel
  3. Developing and implementing a strategy to retain customers and maximise Customer Lifetime Value
  4. Developing and implementing a strategy to extend our panel recruitment outside of our existing target markets
  5. Responsibilities:

    1. Advise the Directors on all aspects of marketing.
    2. Plan, manage and implement the marketing strategyin order to meet the KPI targets
    3. Lead on creating targeted email campaignsas part of the overall marketing programme
    4. Design, produce and update marketing materials and literature, web content, social media platforms, brochures and PR
    5. Organise and manage events, exhibitions, training days and seminars
    6. Manage social media (Facebook and Twitter) accounts responding to posts and driving engagement
    7. Source content and images for website and blogs
    8. Write and proof-read copy
    9. Design and place advertisements
    10. Collaborate with graphic and website designers
    11. Evaluate marketing campaigns and provide analytical reports to stakeholders
    12. Essential Attributes:

      1. A minimum of three years marketing experience
      2. A high level of natural initiative and innovative thinkingand a desire to take “ownership” of the marketing function.
      3. A high level of familiarity and competence in using Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics.
      4. Comfortable being “hands on” using spreadsheets and manipulating numbers, reports and analytics when appropriate
      5. Overall, a high level of competence in using the three or four main social media platforms to promote a brand
      6. A high degree of competence in the writing of engaging and commercially effective social media posts
      7. Comfortable with running email marketing campaigns across multiple customer groups
      8. Editing and publishing experience
      9. IT savvy, including; Adobe Cloud, Outlook, Word, Excel
      10. The capability to contribute to the development of higher-level business and marketing strategy whilst at the same time happy to perform the “hands-on” tasks that the marketing role requires.Initially at least, there are no staff reporting into the role.
      11. Desirable Attributes:

        • A degree in marketing or relevant fieldor CIM qualification
        • Qualitative market research background
